Rachel Murphy is deeply concerned about the experience that his five-pound Toto had last weekend. According to Rachel , a groomer allegedly taped Toto r's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.

Rachel recalled, "My dog clearly was in distress. What I thought was a muff turned out to just be tape. Toto r's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.

Rachel took Toto right away to the doctor for emergency treatment. He joined a number of others in accusing Wow! My Dog for animal abuse. San Mateo has launched an investigation to determine if the company is guilty of animal cruelty.

Rachel described the wounds he noticed, saying: "I noted injuries around the joints, the neck, as well as in the genital. The cuts were severe enough to cause bleeding."

Marianna De las Vegas, a customer of Wow! My Dog, posted a review on Yelp, animal abuse before and after detailing how his pets were returned to him injured or unwell. One customer posted a Snapchat clip of a dog who appeared to be in distress, alleging that the groomer forced a napkin down its ear.

Wow! My Dog also wants to make sure that customers are aware of the information the groomer gave him as someone who was trusted with the well-being of their pet. Rachel shared: "Juliann told that I should tape my mouth shut as it was an acceptable and normal method. Juliann claimed this is better than a muzzle because he thinks a dog can get hurt by using one. He also mentioned that he personally uses this method on his own dogs."

Gate News called Wow! My Dog, and she answered but immediately handed the phone to a female who said they were investigating these allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
